昨日から始まった、高校3年生を対象とした実力テストが終わりました。
邪魔をしないよう、教室の外からそっと様子をうかがいました。

教室は静かな緊張感が漂っています。ペンを走らせる音だけが響く中、生徒は一問一問に真剣に向き合っていました。

早稲田大学の推薦にも関わるこのテストは、それぞれの進路に向けた大切な節目です。静かな教室に満ちる集中の時間は、確かな一歩へとつながっていくことでしょう。

The “Jitsuryoku Test”, the five-subject test for third-year students that started yesterday, is finally over! I’m sure the students are all breathing (temporary) sighs of relief. 
So as not to disrupt anyone, I took a peak from outside the classrooms. The atmosphere inside seemed calm yet also nervous as the only sound to be heard in the stillness was that of pencils carefully scratching out answers one by one. 

This test, which is used in the selection process for recommendations to Waseda University, is sure to prove an important junction in their future paths.
