6月11日、高校3年生を対象に、早稲田大学教授による模擬講義を実施しました。

今回講師としてお越しいただいたのは、古事記の研究を専門とされている松本直樹教授です。講義では、日本神話にまつわる興味深い話題が次々と紹介され、生徒たちは熱心に耳を傾けていました。

講義終了後の質疑応答では、生徒たちから多くの質問が寄せられ、時間内にすべての質問に答えられないほどの盛況ぶりでした。それだけ生徒たちが講義内容に引き込まれ、知的好奇心を刺激されたことがうかがえます。

受験を控えた高校3年生にとって、実際の大学の講義に触れる機会は大変貴重なものです。大学での学びの一端を体験できたことで、進路について考える良いきっかけにもなったのではないでしょうか。

参加した生徒たちからは感謝の声も聞かれ、充実した学びの時間となりました。

On June 11th, a special mock lecture was held for our third-year high school students, featuring Professor Naoki Matsumoto of Waseda University. 

Professor Matsumoto, whose area of expertise is the study of the Kokuji, delivered an engaging lecture on Japanese ethics reflected through the lens of Japanese mythology. Throughout the session, he talked about Japanese mythology and the origin of terminology that, while perhaps familiar to students, are words they hadn’t ever thought about that deeply before.  Professor Matsumoto’s fascinating lecture captured everyone’s attention, and they listened with great interest. 

During the Q&A session that followed, students eagerly asked questions. There were so many, in fact, that it was impossible to answer them all within the allotted time, demonstrating how deeply the lecture had sparked their intellectual curiosity.

These students are preparing for university entrance examinations, so the opportunity to experience an actual university lecture was truly valuable. We hope this experience gave them a deeper understanding of university-level learning and inspired them to think more about their future academic paths.

Many students expressed their appreciation after the lecture, remarking that it was a rewarding and memorable learning experience.
