附設寮「八太郎館」で新入生への入寮オリエンテーションが4月7日に行われました。
オリエンテーションでは、寮生活の流れやルールの確認に加え、寮を担当する教員やスタッフの紹介もありました。
これからともに生活する大人の顔を知り、生徒たちも安心した様子でした。

寮生として初めての食事はカツカレー。
サラダとデザートも添えられ、和やかな雰囲気の中で学年団の先生との楽しい夕食となりました。

新入生は、最初は広い八太郎館を迷路のように感じたようでしたが、時間がたつにつれて少しずつ表情も和らぎ、新しい団体生活への期待が感じられました。

On April 7th, an orientation for new dormitory students was held and Hachitarokan. 

During the orientation, students learned about the daily schedule and dormitory rules, and were introduced to the teachers and staff who will be supporting dormitory life. Meeting the adults who will live and work alongside them surely helped the new students feel more at ease. 

Their first meal as dorm residents was pork cutlet curry, served with salad and dessert. It was a warm and enjoyable dinner where they had the chance to chat with their new roommates, dorm-mates, and teachers in a relaxed atmosphere. 

Although many of the new students initially found the spacious Hachitarokan to be like a maze, they will gradually become more comfortable as time passes. Everyone’s relaxed smiles at the end of the evening reflected their growing excitement about beginning this new chapter of life as a dorm student at Waseda Saga.
