8/22（土）、本校中入生の大学生12名を講師に招き、日々の学習や今後の進路について主体的に考える機会とすることを目的に、「卒業生座談会」を実施しました。

　今回、講師として参加してくださったのは、2025年3月に本校高校を卒業した以下の大学生です。

・早稲田大学 教育学部、文学部、創造理工学部、商学部

・東北大学 工学部

・東京科学大学 工学院

・京都大学 農学部

　中学生からの事前アンケートをもとに、「学習」「生活」「人間関係」「進路」「大学生活」の5つのテーマに分け、大学生の先輩たちに話をしてもらいました。各ブースにおいて実に様々な角度から話が展開されたので、どのような話が心に響いたのかは、一人ひとり異なるはずです。

　一生懸命に、もしかすると、何となく一生懸命に、日々の学校生活や寮生活を過ごしている生徒たちにとって、今回の座談会が、「日々の努力や苦労の先には何があるのか」「その先に、自分はどのような姿になっているのか」を考え、「近い将来の自分」を想像する機会になったはずです。

 On Saturday, August 22nd, we welcomed 12 university students who graduated from our junior high school to serve as guest speakers for an “Alumni Roundtable.” This event was designed to give our second year junior high students an opportunity to give more serious consideration to their daily studies and school life, as well as their future academic and career paths.

 Based on questions the students submitted in advance, discussions were organized around five themes: “Studies,” “Daily Life,” “Relationships,” “Future Paths,” and “University Life.” As the university students shared their experiences, they offered a wide range of perspectives for their juniors to think about, and each group’s discussion naturally developed in its own direction. What resonated most with each student was likely different.

 For our students, who spend their days working hard—sometimes with a clear sense of purpose, and sometimes simply doing their best to get through each day—the roundtable provided an opportunity to think about what lies beyond their current efforts and challenges. We hope it also encouraged them to imagine their “near-future selves” and consider what kind of person they would like to become.
